George Bluth Sr. and Oscar Bluth shall return!

George Bluth Sr. will, at least. I can’t remember what happened to Oscar… It’s a good thing Netflix released the Arrested Development Season 4 Remix today!

For those wondering if the harassment allegations against Jeffrey Tambor, who plays the Bluth patriarch, would cause any sort of recasting or writing the character out of the show, never fear, Variety reports that Jeffrey Tambor will return in the upcoming fifth season of Arrested Development.

We hadn’t heard official word about Tambor not being replaced or cut out until today. He was dropped from his Amazon series Transparent, though Arrested Development was shot before allegation arose.

Now, I’m a little split of how to feel about this.

I am thankful George Bluth Sr. will be in Season 5 of Arrested Development, and though we have no release date, I am glad the show was not delayed to replace him.

Yet, I have been quick to scorn any other actor caught up in the #MeToo movement… I said I would never play favorites when it comes to one accused actor over another… so I am a bit ashamed to be glad my favorite show wasn’t affected.

So… I guess I have some soul searching to do, as I imagined I would when an official announcement came.

Maybe Season 4 can help me through my hypoprocacey today, so I can be a less terrible person.

Are you glad Jeffrey Tambor is back for Arrested Development Season 5? I know this is a tricky subject, but do you think he should not have been brought back? Let us know in the comment section below.
