Jimmy Giannopoulos Shares How The Cast Came Together For Alone At Night | Exclusive

The filmmaker, Jimmy Giannopoulos brings Alone At Night. An indie film that is composed by high profile actors in the middle of the pandemic.

The Synopsis

Vicky (Ashley Benson, “Spring Breakers”) is a young woman looking for an escape after going through a harrowing break-up. After retreating to a friend’s remote cabin in the woods to clear her head, she continues modeling sexy lingerie for her devoted followers on 18 & Over, an adults-only, live-streaming website. But when the power keeps going out, Vicky discovers something terrifying awaiting her in the dark — a masked killer wielding a crowbar who’s hellbent on bringing her night to a grisly end. Alone at Night is led by an ensemble cast including Benson (Pretty Little Liars), Pamela Anderson (Baywatch), Luis Guzmán (Traffic), model Winnie Harlow, musician G-Eazy, rapper A$AP Nast, Paris Hilton, and more.

Before Jimmy Giannopoulos was making films he was in the music industry. Giannopoulos’ earlier years were spent in recording studios and on tours while he was part of a band named Lolawolf. His directorial debut was in 2021 with star Val Kilmer and Ewan McGregor for The Birthday Cake.

A day before the release I was connected with Jimmy Giannopoulos to discuss the making of Alone At Night. He discussed how the unexpected cast came together and was very pleased with the outcome. Giannopoulos talked about the challenges of filming in the middle of the pandemic for the cast and the filmmaking process.
