John Wick and John Wick: Chapter 2 are pretty damn solid action flicks. They have just enough story to keeping up the momentum and build the world, but not so much that it bogged down the narrative. Perhaps even most impressively, they are films that utilize actor Keanu Reeves’ stronger aspects as an actors, all while avoiding his weaker ones.

The first film was a huge surprise for most moviegoers, and on the heels of that success, John Wick: Chapter 2 managed to be an incredibly worthy successor to the first one. Of course, because money is a think, and another sequel could lead to the studio attaining more of it, but luckily for fans, star Keanu Reeves are on board for this threequel.

According to THR, series screenwriter Derek Kolstad will be returning to take on John Wick: Chapter 3. This is great news for all fans, as it’s a confirmation that most of the key creative team (sans co-director David Leitch, who wasn’t on board for the second film).

Director of the first two, Chad Stahelski is working with Kolstad on developing this film, and while it’s not confirmed that he’ll be back for the film, it does seem that he has an eye to direct it. Should his Highlander project not interfere, we think it’s safe to assume Stahelski will be back to ensure the success of John Wick’s third adventure on film.
