If you ever went to the movies in the late 90s and early 2000s then there is a good chance you saw at least one film starring Josh Hartnett (Sin City, Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, Halloween: H20). If you were a fan of the actor, then you are in luck because Hartnett has signed on to star in the upcoming 10-episode series Paradise Lost by Spectrum Original and the Paramount Network.
Variety provided a brief description of the series:
” …a Southern Gothic mystery about a psychiatrist who moves with her family from California to her husband’s hometown in Mississippi, only to uncover shameful secrets that irrevocably change the lives of everyone involved.”
Hartnett will play the male lead alongside Bridget Regen (Jane the Virgin). Others joining the cast include Barbara Hershey, Nick Nolte, Gail Bean, Danielle Deadwyler, and Shane McRae.
Sounds a little like a Lifetime Original. The series could be worth a watch, but not enough for me to invest in another service. What are your thoughts? Any Josh Harnett fans out there? Is this a series you think would be worth checking out, or merely another show that you think will get lost in the battle of the services? Leave your thoughts in the usual spot, and thanks for reading!
