It’s been a minute since we’ve seen some new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom footage. As if sensing this, The Playlist has posted a video on social media. Of course, as with most videos posted in this way, it is but a tease of what’s to come. It turns out we’ll be getting a new trailer on Wednesday of next week!
Check out the tease below!
"These creatures were here before us and if we're not careful, they're going to be here after." New #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom hits next Wednesday. Here's a quick taste. #JurassicPark pic.twitter.com/KQKfPYQfdA

In the video above, we get a whole sizzle reel of cool footage. One of the cooler parts is Chris Pratt jumping away from what looks like a T-Rex while stuck in its cage. The whole thing is set to an ominous monologue from Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm, who says:
“These creatures were here before us, and if we’re not careful, they’re gonna be here after. Welcome to Jurassic World.”
The clip closes out with a dinosaur sneaking into the bedroom of a little world, and the whole thing gives me flashbacks to The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Let’s hope this one will be much stronger than that one, though.

It’s been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.
When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.
With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful series in cinema history, this all-new motion-picture event sees the return of favorite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before. Welcome to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
