Bloodshot will be directed by Dave Wilson and produced by the Fast & Furious’ Neal Moritz. The script will be done by Arrival screenwriter Eric Heisserer and Jeff Wadlow. Due to the character’s violent attributes like a Deadpool or a Wolverine, the film is expected to have an R-Rating. Bloodshot will be the first film in the Valiant cinematic Universe. Harbinger will follow soon after Bloodshot and it will eventually lead into a crossover featuring the Harbinger Wars storyline.
Bloodshot first appeared in Valiant Comics Eternal Warrior #4 in 1992. He was created by Kevin Vanhook, Don Perlin, and Bob Layton. When Valiant relaunched in 2012 Duane Swierczynski took on the Bloodshot series which has been followed by a fantastic run by Jeff Lemire.
