AQUAMAN: Jason Momoa Shows Legendary Trident In Training Photo

While I doubt the solo Aquaman film will be as good as the one Vinnie Chase made in the show Entourage, it does appear that Jason Momoa is taking the role very seriously. He is working with an expert group of martial arts trainers and weapon aficionados over at 87Eleven Action Design. Check out this training photo:

87Eleven Action Design has been in business for around 50 years, and they employ quite a few skilled employees and martial arts services such as Pat Tray from Trident MMA, who is personally working with Momoa. Recently, they worked with Amber Heard prepare for the role of Mera (Aquaman‘s usual wife) and have helped with John Wick and Jurassic World.

This may be the biggest smile I have ever seen Momoa make, so regardless of what anyone thinks of Aquaman, Momoa, or the current state of the DCEU — it does appear he will be well trained.

Aquaman does not drop until 2018, and it will feature Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, WIlem Dafoe as Vulko, Amber Heard as Mera, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. Which on a side note, Black Manta is one of the coolest looking DC villains of all time.

Do our faithful readers here think this could actually be a good movie? Let’s hear from you!
