A new trailer for the Justice League Blu-Ray has been released and it brings back memories for older fans as it has the voice over style of the old Super Friends cartoon series. The show, that had some of the more lighthearted versions of the league of heroes. It’s a fun trailer for sure, and with the imitation of the show’s old announcer, Ted Knight, it has a 1930s serial feel to it, similar to what Star Wars: The Clone Wars used.

Nostalgia, making things appear retro is pretty hot right now, so a pretty smart move by DC as this fits in well with the current trends. Now all we need is someone to take audio from the Justice League film and dub it over some Super Friends footage.
While still plagued with the some usual problems, the Justice League did take heed to fans complaints of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and at least tried to make improvements. Granted it wasn’t an absolute hit, but I was entertained while watching and I think it was a huge improvement and at least shows that DC is willing to listen.
Justice League comes to Blu-Ray tomorrow, March 13.
