Justified’s Damon Herriman Will Play Charles Manson In Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

It seems with every passing month, filmmaker Quentin Tarantino adds another few big name stars to his upcoming project Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The film’s cast already has the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Sydney Sweeney, Timothy Olyphant, Kurt Russell, James Marsden, Emile Hirsch, Lena Dunham, Tim Roth, Zoë Bell, Clifton Collins, Jr., Michael Madsen and Burt Reynolds, amongst many more. Recently added to the fray will be Rumer Willis, Margaret Qualley and Justified‘s Damon Herriman, who will be playing the role of cult leader Charles Manson.

Tarantino’s script tells the story of a faded TV actor and his stunt double who embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry during Manson’s Helter Skelter reign of terror in 1969 Los Angeles. The film will feature a mix of characters during the end of Hollywood’s golden age, ranging from real life actors of the period (Robbie playing Sharon Tate and Herriman playing Manson) and fictional characters. The cast is a blend of Tarantino veterans (DiCaprio, Pitt, Russell and Bell) and newcomers to his cinematic world (Robbie, Reynolds, Willis and Herriman).

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is slated for release on July 26, 2019.
