Some Barside Buzz that the Kang story has been abandoned plus an official source says Michael Waldron is still writing the Avengers movies. Let’s start with the Barside Buzz. Joanna Robinson, who recently wrote a book all about the inside out of the MCU has made a new claim. In a recent podcast appearance on House of R Robinson claims a source from Marvel Studios has told her that Jeff Loveness was removed from The Kang Dynasty because the entire Kang story was being scrapped and replaced.
That would be pretty major news if true, given the move is currently titled The Kang Dynasty. There have been rumors Marvel may look to change plans due to star Jonathan Majors (Kang) upcoming court case. As yet though, all these have been is rumors and guess work. This is the first source who has come out to say Kang is out as the big bad of this Multiverse Saga.
Right now I’m not sure whether to buy this one or not? I think I’ll wait for some backup from those I do really trust before I am convinced. However, personally I think this sounds a lot more complicated than just replacing the actor. That’s is if Majors case goes against him obviously.
We know Loveness was at one point writing The Kang Dynasty and Michael Waldron was writing Secret Wars. However we were told by good sources both writers were out. However, we have an official Marvel source saying Waldron is not out.

Marvel producer Kevin Wright says that Michael Waldron is currently working as a writer on BOTH Avengers movies. One of which we assume to be The Kang Dynasty (pending story above) and the other billed to be Secret Wars. Far as we know Waldron was never directly linked with the former but announced at one point as the writer of the latter.You can find our coverage of the Waldron out rumor Here, but as you can see it was just a rumor and not information from trades.

So, Waldron was never removed, an that’s interesting to know.
