I’m going to say right off the bat I’m not sure about this one. According to some recent casting gossip online, it has been suggested that Sony want Keanu Reeves for their Kraven the Hunter movie. Now the casting news comes from @deuxmoiworld, however we picked this up from the tweet below.
[Update: The Illuminerdi are now reporting this from their onw source also. They say Reeves has been offered the lead role.]
Sony's looking to have Keanu Reeves star in Kraven the Spider-Man spin-off 👁 Doesn't say if he's meant to be Kraven or another character.

Now, this source normally concerns themselves with who is dating who in Hollywood. So I am not going to bat for this source as credible. I do know Murphy’s Multiverse ran this story, and I do trust those guys as a source. Does that give this any validity though, I’m not sure, as they don’t claim to know anything else?

We know Marvel boss Kevin Feige has been courting Reeves for years for the MCU. Would Reeves really jump into bed with Sony playing a different Marvel character? Then, is the Sony movies becoming part of the MCU inevitable at this point anyway? I really don’t see the point of Kraven without Spider-Man, and I sad the same abut Venom. The upcoming Morbius, yep, I feel the same way, but then Morbius is different isn’t it? Adrian Toomes is in Morbius and played by Michael Keaton, which connects that film to the MCU. There are also images of Spider-Man on posters glimpsed within Morbius, so we don’t know what the hell is going on?
Will Tom Holland cross into another Multiverse after Spider-Man 3? Will the Sony movies become part of the MCU fully? Or, is there another option I am not seeing? Ultimately whilst I’ll take it with a grain of salt, and you should too, what do you think of Keanu Reeves as Kraven the Hunter? Leave your thoughts below, but honestly, until I know what the score is with Sony and Marvel, I don’t want Reeves wasted on some half-azzed Sony movie.
