Kevin Costner returns to a western film in Let Him Go out November 6th. A thriller drama about family, courage and survival. A story based on the novel of the same title written by the acclaimed author Larry Watson.
Synopsis :
Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Kevin Costner) and his wife Margaret (Diane Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.
Kevin Costner had a silent itch for acting. Until his return flight from his Puerto Vallarta honeymoon. During this significant flight he had a conversation with the “the natural successor to Oliver” actor Richard Burton who encouraged Costner to pursue acting. Shortly after, Kevin Costner and his wife left Orange County to live in Hollywood. He has starred in memorable cinema like, JFK, The Untouchables and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Some films we will always remember him for is The Postman, Dances With Wolves and The BodyGuard with Whitney Houston.
Costner can currently be seen in Paramount’s television series, Yellowstone. He has co-authored and produced the best selling adventure novel, The Explorers Guild.
