Pick up The Call today in time for Halloween. Or it may be your last call.
The flick is a cult horror hit that premiered earlier in theaters this month that stars Lin Shaye (Insidious franchise) and Tobin Bell (Saw franchise). It is the first feature film that two iconic horror icons star together.
Here’s the synopsis of the movie:
Four friends. One phone call. 60 seconds to stay alive. In the fall of 1987, a group of small-town friends must survive the night in the home of a sinister couple after a tragic accident occurs in The Call. Needing only to make a single phone call, the request seems rather simple until they realize that this call could change their life…or end it.
The rest of the cast included Chester Rushing (Stranger Things), Erin Sanders (Zoey 101), Mike Manning (Teen Wolf), and Sloane Morgan Siegel (Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street). Timothy Woodward Jr. (The Final Wish) directed the horror from the screenplay written by Patrick Stibbs.

“Pairing Tobin and Lin, or Saw’s Jigsaw and Insidious’ Elise Rainier, as they’re known to horror fans around the world, brings so much terror to the screen,” stated Emmy-nominated director Timothy Woodward Jr. “Their chemistry is undeniable, and the power of their scenes splinters off, creating this dark, macabre world these characters are forced to survive in.”
This terrifying movie is a terrific throwback to the 80s horror movies that we adored. With the style of scares, each victim succumbs to the nightmarish horrors of the film. It is a cult horror classic this year.
