Kevin Durand is drawn to playing many characters on screen that are unlike him in real life. So when a villainous role of Cole came across his desk for Dangerous, he immediately jumped on the opportunity to play a sinister and unempathetic bad guy for this indie action film.
The film also stars Scott Eastwood (Suicide Squad), Tyrese Gibson (The Fast & Furious franchise), Famke Janssen (X-Men franchise), and Mel Gibson (Braveheart). David Hackl (Saw V) directed the movie from the screenplay written by Christopher Borrelli.
Here is the full synopsis of Dangerous:
Ex-con and reformed sociopath Dylan Forrester (Scott Eastwood) is trying to quietly serve out his parole—with the help of a steady supply of antidepressants and his eccentric psychiatrist (Mel Gibson). But when his brother dies under mysterious circumstances, Dylan breaks parole and, with a dogged FBI agent (Famke Janssen) on his trail, goes to uncover the truth. A band of heavily armed mercenaries wants something Dylan’s brother was hiding, and Dylan will need all his guile and tactical skills to survive in this action-packed thriller.
