At some point, there will be a new Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A long list of options for the role, though anyone who is cast will, for at least a short time, feel out of place. This is of course due to Hugh Jackman playing the role for twenty years.
While I would assume Kevin Feige and his team are mapping out the details of the famous mutants’ introductioninto the MCU, it appears as if Feige is in no hurry to cast the role. The Man behind Marvel recently spoke with Collider and when asked if he even had an actor in mind Feige simply replied, “No.”

Well, I guess that’s a short answer if ever there was one. I think Feige knows the casting of Wolverine is crucial as I’m sure you all can imagine. Again, anyone placed into this role will likely, at least initially, receive backlash. One of the more interesting suggestions That I’ve come across is Charlie Hunnam, and I think he may be one of the best options.
Another name I’ve eard and even seen fanart of is Shia LeBeouf. I am less enthusiastic about this casting, however, I would still be willing to stay open-minded if this was the case.
