The Marvel Cinematic Universe was already a gold standard by which others are and will be measured by for years to come. Then, in 2016, the MCU became even better by bringing in arguably Marvel’s most famous character in Spider-Man. The addition allowed the teen aged web slinger to finally play in the sandbox with his estranged siblings. And as most of you know, more Marvel characters are coming home.
It shouldn’t be long now before we start to see tidbits of news concerning Marvel’s plans for the X-Men and other characters they acquired in last year’s deal between Disney and Fox. Marvel Mastermind Kevin Feige recently spoke with MTVNews and well, just like most all of us, Feige is excited.
“The truth is, I’m excited for all of them. I’m excited, and it’s not just the marquee names you know — there are hundreds of names on those documents, on those agreements. And the fact that Marvel is as close as we may ever get now to having access to all of the characters, is something I’ve been dreaming about for my almost 20 years at Marvel. And it’s very exciting.”

It is almost a certainty that Feige and Marvel will incorporate the newly acquired characters into the already well established MCU, elevating the shared universe to new heights and putting it at its most complete form to date.
