Kevin Feige On The Marvel Cinematic Universe After Avengers 4

With DC’s future direction uncertain, Marvel continues to on the journey that began a decade ago. In the Vanity Fair Marvel extravaganza, we learn from studio head, Kevin Feige that much of what we have come to know as the Marvel Cinematic Universe will come to an end with Avengers 4. In speaking with Vanity Fair, Feige explains that while Avengers 4 will have closure, it will not be the end of the shared universe. Feige says that Avengers 4 will:

“Bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale. There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting,”

This makes me wonder if we might lose some Avengers during the fourth film. It seems Feige and Marvel are set to send the MCU in a whole new direction, and some of our most beloved heroes may suffer in the process. I think we have all heard the rumors on Captain America and perhaps even Iron Man being killed off, so prepare yourselves now folks. The new direction of Marvel after Avengers 4 sounds exciting, but also comes with  a sense of anxiety and the unknown.
