Comedian Kevin Hart was involved in an accident early Sunday morning in Malibu Hills. The driver of Hart’s vehicle reportedly lost control and ran off the road, ending up While it was one of his vehicles, Hart was not driving, the man driving was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center, and Hart is also said to have some serious injuries.
The roof of the car, was said to be badly smashed in and had to be cut with a saw in order to get Hart and the other two people out. Hart and the driver appear to have received more severe injuries, a female passenger did not require hospital-level treatment.

An update on Hart’s medical status was given to USA Today by his wife, Eniko Parrish, who says the comedian will be, “just fine,” after having back surgery. The fact he needed surgery tells us he did suffer some pretty serious injuries. I enjoy Kevin Hart as both a stand-up and an actor, and this is sad news, but it’s good to know he’s on the way to recovery.
