“With danger lurking closer than they know, Tyler, Kinsey and Bode unlock more family secrets as they dig deeper into the power and mystery of the keys.” The release date for Locke & Key Season 2 is soon approaching and I’m so freaking excited. Netflix has released the trailer and there’s a lot going on.
We start the Locke & Key trailer with the mom, Nina Locke, in an AA meeting. She explains that her kids are moving on, but she’s struggling. The things that have happened don’t make sense to her because she’s an adult and the magic of the keys only works for children or when she breaks her sobriety. It has to be hard for a mother to be unable to help her children and danger is coming. Nina asks her daughter, Kinsey, if something is going on, but how can she tell her?
The kids believe that Dodge is gone, but they will eventually find out that’s not true. Dodge has been disguising himself as Gabe from the beginning with the identity key to get close to Kinsey. I hope she figures it out fast. Kinsey has some good instincts like that they shouldn’t open the Black Door at the end of season 1. Although, she did try to kill her fear and it caused some trouble. Fear is an emotion that is extremely important. It warns us of danger. Dodge forms another key and I’m wondering what Dodge wanted it to be.
I am curious why there is no healing key. They have a ghost key, matchstick key, omega key and many others. If I were to forge keys that would be the first one I would make. I do love the flower key, head key, mending key and the anywhere key. But if you are going to get into crazy adventures, a key to heal broken bones or giant cuts would be handy.
Locke & Key Season 2 will stream on October 22. There’s still plenty of time to catch up or rewatch season 1.
