This past weekend came with a whole bevy of information for the upcoming Disney Channel original movie, Kim Possible. As the name suggests, the show is based on the animated series of the same name from the early-2000s, which followed high-schooler/crime-fighter Kim Possible and her trusty sidekick Ron Stoppable.
The show was a staple of many a childhood, and as if to capitalize on it, it’s been confirmed that at least two voice actors from the show will be making an appearance in some fashion. First up is Christy Carlson Romano, the voice of Kim herself. She will be in the film, but her actual role is unclear as of right now, as she said to People:
“I can’t say too much about my involvement yet, but I’m very excited to help usher in the strong, empowered female character I helped bring to life, to a new generation. And I’m equally thrilled to see what the original fans think!”
Also set to return is Patton Oswalt, who played Professor Dementor in the show. He will be reprising his role in the film.
If that wasn’t enough, Disney also released a little teaser video for the film, showing off new lead, Sadie Stanley.
