Netflix’s Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Images Hit!

It seemed like only yesterday that The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina switched over from The CW to Netflix, opening it up to potentially go in even darker directions than its sister series, Riverdale. With no network regulations setting in, this really can be, dare I say, “chilling.”

So far, we’ve only seen a single photo from the show proper, but today, EW released two new photos from the show. One if them shows off a red-coat-wearing Sabrina (played by Kieran Shipka) standing in the middle of the desert. She looks to be holding a branch in one hand and a bell in another. Of note is the background — it’s not just out of focus, but looks to have some sort of motion blur. What will this scene be trying to convey here?

The next image shows Sabrina kneeling on the ground in front of a very mysterious man. Surrounding her are her aunts, a few unknown witches, and some creepy dude in a mask and red paint on his chest. Is this Sabrina going through some coming-of-age ritual?

The details on this show are sparse, but we do know that it’s being characterized as a dark coming-of-age tale. It may be based on the happy-go-lucky Archie character, but rest assured, this one will be allowed to go as dark as it needs.

What do you think of these first images? Sound off down below!

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina hits Netflix on October 26, 2018.
