This one hit Friday, and we were a little busy with our own exclusive to cover it at the time. According to a new report Kingpin is back in Hawkeye. Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk was a highlight of the Daredevil shows, and fans have long wanted him to make his entrance into the full MCU. There have been many hints and rumors that fans will get their wish, but the latest pinpoints exactly where we will see D’Onofrio return as Fisk, in Hawkeye.
Mods at r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers have been able to verify credentials of someone passing them information. The mods must have seen some evidence that would say this source is genuine or they would not have covered it. It’s a great sub-Reddit and the fans that go there know the difference between good insiders and fakers. In other words, I trust the mods of that sub to only post this if they are convinced. Kingpin is Back!
We are excited to reveal that, according to our verified sources, Vincent’s Kingpin is going to make his MCU re-debut in Hawkeye this year. The source indicated that Daredevil was also supposed to make his MCU re-debut in Hawkeye alongside his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but scheduling for Hawkeye didn’t work out. Kingpin will instead be filling that void.
The source that we’ve been in communication with has also implied that Hawkeye will be airing around the same time that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be in theaters, because the two MCU projects share some connections. This lines up with previous verified information that we received that suggests an October release for Ms. Marvel, and a November release for Hawkeye.
With Fisk appearing in Hawkeye this year, we assume that he will reprise the role in *Echo*, along with Daredevil.

If all checks out, this is frankly great news. D’Onofrio is Wilson Fisk to me and there is no one better Marvel Studios could get to play the roles of Fisk and Murdock than D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox. Thankfully, that appears to be the case here. As the post states, with Cox heavily rumored (he’s in it) for Spider-Man: No Way Home and now D’Onofrio in Hawkeye. it seems likely both will met within the Echo Disney+ show that will spawn from Hawkeye.
