Ben Kingsley to reprise Trevor Slattery role in Marvel’s Wonder Man according to Variety. Whilst never quite officially announced, it has been know for a while (trades) that a Wonder Man Disney+ series is in development. So far, other than a few vague rumors, we don’t know who will play the lead role in this show. However we do now know one returning MCU character, Trevor Slattery.
Ben Kingsley is poised to reprise the role of Trevor Slattery in the upcoming Wonder Man series from Marvel Studios at Disney+, Variety has learned exclusively from sources.
If we go by the comics then Wonder Man, aka Simon Williams is either an actor or a stuntman in Hollywood. Given that Trevor is himself a failed actor, you can kind of see why his inclusion in this show might make sense.
According to the trades, Destin Daniel Cretton is developing the series for Disney+ with Andrew Guest as head writer and fellow exec producer. However as we know, until Marvel decides to officially announce a project, they won’t discuss it. Ergo, we weirdly don’t even have official confirmation of the Werewolf by Night Halloween Special. Yet, we know the majority of the plot, the actors involved, and have quotes from director Michael Giacchino. That’s just how it works in Marvel town.
So where Wonder Man fits into the current Marvel slate we don’t know, but it is coming.

Kingsley has now played Trevor twice in the MCU. Trevor’s debut was of course in Iron Man 3 where he played the fake Mandarin. However Kingsley reprised the role for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings where we met the real Mandarin. For now Trevor seems to have turned his life around and I did expect him to remain in Ta Lo. I guess we will find out eventually?
