Knuckles Spotted! Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Set Photos Show Fans Their Favorite Echidna

There are new photos from the set of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, showing the stand-in for Knuckles. We can see both Knuckles and Tails in the photo. Paramount Pictures will release the movie on April 8, 2022 and I’m excited to see it.

Video game movies haven’t been well received in the past, but with Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu, the trend seems to be changing. The new Mortal Kombat movie is set to be released April 23, 2021. We’ll see how it is received.

Best Video Game Movie Ever?

In the first Sega game, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic sets off to defeat Dr. Robotnik by himself. The first movie does just that. Sonic comes to Earth alone, makes some human friends, and saves the day by sending Dr. Robotnik to the mushroom dimension. At the end of the movie, we see Tails make his way to Earth, which makes sense because Tails first shows up in the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 game. We don’t get Knuckles in the games until Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but I’m ok with this. I really enjoyed the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie and Paramount Pictures has my trust with this second movie. Being one of those who thought the Sonic the Hedgehog movie was good, I’m just confident the sequel will too. However, I’ve said it before in many of our podcasts, I have no problem being wrong.

With the Sonic the Hedgehog games, he and his friends go on many adventures so if Paramount is thinking of making a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, as of today, I’m looking forward to watching it if and when it gets released.

How do you feel about Knuckles joining the movie? Let us know in the comments below.
