Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is one of the most unique experiences that anyone can experience while at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is a totally immersive land that transports guest onto the planet of Batuu in the Star Wars Galaxy.
While most guest focuses on the two main attractions of Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance there is so much more this land has to offer. There are the interactive experiences of building a droid at the Droid Depot or a custom lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop that continue the lore of Star Wars. Also there are shops and food to experience the magic.
In the latest release from Disney Parks Blog “Behind the Magic”, you can go behind the scenes with Disney Imagineers to learn about the inspiration for Galaxy’s Edge.
