“What’s the last thing you remember?” Seriously, what’s the last thing you remember about Season 1 of FX’s mind-bender of a show, Legion? While it was quite the amazing and interesting watch from a novelty perspective, so abstract was it in nature that I’ve found it easy to forget the actual tangible events of the season. Luckily, FX has us covered. In addition to the recap of the season we got a couple weeks back, we now have a new featurette that goes behind-the-scenes of the upcoming second season.

If you’ll recall, last season saw David get captured by a mysterious sphere. About one year has passed since then, though to David, it feels like the events of the season only happened the previous day. According to the video, for some reason, boundaries are being redrawn in the show. Creator Noah Hawley also uses this season to continue exploring the idea of mental illness, going even further by looking into what makes groups of people go mad.

For those who don’t remember, last season saw the gang drive out the parasite in David’s brain. This parasite took on many forms, but the most notable form was Aubrey Plaza’s Lenny. Though while it no longer pollutes his mind, it managed to escape his grasp, taking Oliver along with her. As expected, we will be facing off against her yet again, only this time, we’ll be witnessing her Shadow King form of Amahl Farouk.
