Every courtroom drama has the important element—seeking the truth with the given evidence.
However, in an academic college paper cheating accusation—doesn’t it really matter? For one teacher’s assistant, it means the whole world to him to destroy a student’s grade after allegedly caught her cheating.
In Stealing School, it is an academic courtroom drama as the teacher’s assistant pulls in a tribunal, the professor, a student boy attorney, and the accused in search of the truth. The Asian-Canadian tech prodigy, in turn, must prove her innocence of plagiarism in the secret trial held before an academic tribunal.
The film stars Celine Tsai (Ready or Not, In the Dark) and Jonathan Keltz (Entourage, Reign). Li Dong directed and wrote the screenplay.
