In a recent interview with CBM, Eternal actress Lia McHugh talks possible futures for Sprite in the MCU. For what it’s worth, this does seems to be purely speculative from McHugh, not a list of spoilers. Just a young actress hoping to come back and wondering where and if she could show up again. An Eternals sequel seems likely eventually whether on film or streaming, but as we know with the MCU, characters can pop up anywhere.
“I am so excited for the possibilities of what would happen if they bring her back. I have no idea. I think about it a lot actually,” she says in the video below. “Will she be a teenager? Will she be an adult? A rebellious teen who’s terrible and going crazy? I don’t know, but it’s interesting to think about [Laughs].”
There are hints and rumors that Kit Harrington’s Dane Whitman may show up in Blade. Could sprite track down her friend’s Human lover?
To that, all McHugh would tell us was, “I love Kit Harington, so that would be a blast! [Laughs]”
It’s a good bet that McHugh probably has far more of an idea what comes next than she is letting on in this interview. However who knows? It could be an Eternals sequel before we do see Sprite again, and one would imagine there’s currently nothing like a script in place for that movie, yet.
“It’s very exciting! I can’t wait to read the scripts if and when it happens. It’s probably not going to be for a while, but I’m ready for it.”

As for exactly where and when we see Sprite again, your guess is as good as anyone’s? The one question I do want answered is whether Sprite became an ordinary Human or kept some of her abilities after being changed by Sersi. Either way Sprite is an interesting character to see physically mature given the fact her mental age is ancient. That’s always a fun storytelling drama angle. Any chance Sprite could bend up in that rumored Young Avengers line up?
