Live-Action Disney’s Snow White Reveals First Trailer with Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot| D23 2024

Although it may be considered a live-action film, Disney’s Snow White still relies heavily on animation rather than practical effects to bring this classic tale to life.

At the studio showcase of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney released the first teaser trailer and poster for its upcoming film Snow White, which stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot as Snow White and the Evil Queen, respectively.

The teaser trailer featured the first look at the famous “Whistle While You Work” scene, which features Zegler singing a tune.

The teaser trailer also gave us a first look at the well-known seven dwarves: Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleep, and Sneezy. These characters look a bit animated as if animatronics at Disneyland came to life.

The animals definitely do look cartoony, but this may be a preview of what Bambi could look like if Disney ever adapts that film into live-action, similar to The Lion King.

For now, the plot is that it’s a live-action musical reimagination of the classic 1937 animated film.

Marc Webb directed the film, which was based on a screenplay by Greta Gerwig, Erin Cressida Wilson, and Dorothy Ann Blank.

Disney’s Snow White is in theaters on March 21st next year.
