One of the highlights of these screenings is an exclusive sneak peek at “Star Wars: The Acolyte,” the upcoming Disney+ series set roughly 100 years before the events of “The Phantom Menace.” The series promises to delve into unexplored corners of the Star Wars universe and is scheduled for release exclusively on Disney+ on June 4th.

But the excitement doesn’t end there. On May 4th itself, in honor of both the film’s milestone anniversary and the beloved Star Wars Day, fans will have the extraordinary opportunity to experience all nine episodes of the Skywalker Saga in theaters. This premium marathon event promises an immersive journey through the epic saga that has captivated audiences for generations.

To mark this announcement, Lucasfilm has unveiled special key art inspired by the traditional Japanese black-ink painting style known as sumi-e.
