Margot Robbie Is Sharon Tate In New Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Poster

On Monday, filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s latest movie released its first poster. In it, we saw the two leads for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which seems ready to give a fitting homage to the film industry back in a seminal decade — and back during a decade that was likely very influential for Tarantino himself. But that poster was, dare I say, ugly.

That’s right. In it, we saw Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, kind of awkwardly standing away from each other. There was a lot of awkward negative space in it, and perhaps worst of all was the fact that it looked like it was shot on a backlot. I get that Tarantino loves to make his movies feel somewhat artificial, but this looked like something much closer to a parody poster than a real one.

Today, they dropped another poster, this time featuring Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate.

I’ll admit, this one still kind of retains the same flavor as the original, but I think it’s much better. For starters, it looks slightly less phony with the way she’s standing, and the theater in the background looks pretty cool. All in all, it’s a step up, but I’m still not sure I’m a fan of that logo…

But, when all said and done, I’ll be there in theaters, because it’s a damn Tarantino movie, and I’m pretty much his slave. But what do you think of this poster? Is it a step up from the first one? Sound off down below!
