As most of you have probably heard, Boba Fett, the Fettmeister, the Fetterino, is set to return to a galaxy far, far away. The iconic bounty hunter will make his return in the second season of the hit Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. The series is set seven years after Return of the Jedi. Which as of now, according to canon, would make Boba Fett seven years into being slowly digested over 1000 years.
So how is he still alive? That remains to be seen. However, Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill is wondering the same thing. Check out what Hamill had to say about the matter while speaking with ETOnline below.
“I thought he was a decade into getting digested at this point. There’s so many ways they can go and John Favreau and Dave Filoni are both the right people for the job. They know it better than I do.”

It’s hard to tell at this point how Favreau and Filoni will handle the situation. I for one, have complete confidence in both of them. I loved the first season of The Mandalorian, and I am excited that Season 2 isn’t too far off, as it is one of the few shows to not be delayed due to the pandemic. In the old Expanded Universe, now known as Star Wars Legends, Boba Fett escaped the Sarlacc pit by using his jet pack. It would be a nice nod to the old EU if they kept the same jet pack escape, but we’ll have to wait and see.
