Mark Hamill To Receive Star On Walk Of Fame

Shouldn’t the man who played Luke Skywalker, one of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema already have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Apparently not, but don’t worry, he will have one soon. That’s right, Mark Hamill will be receiving his very own star on the fabled stretch of Hollywood sidewalk.

Walk of Fame ceremonies producer Ana Martinez had this to say in a statement:

Star Wars’ fans will be over the moon that hearing their idol Mark Hamill is going to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We are proud to add this extraordinary actor on our historic Walk of Fame.”

Both Harrison Ford and George Lucas will be present at the ceremony and will assist president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Leron Gubler in emceeing the event. The ceremony will take place on March 8, at 11:30 p.m.

While he is well known throughout the galaxy for portraying Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, Hamill is also an accomplished voice actor, providing the voice of what many fans call the definitive Joker, among an almost endless list of voice credits.

Hamill deserves this right? Of course he does! Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
