Welcome to a weekly roundup of all the latest Marvel Barside Buzz, this week including Avengers 5, Secret Wars Part 2, a Tobey and Andrew Spidey movie and more. The rumors come from Daniel RPK on his Patreon.
RPK says that Avengers 5, formerly called The Kang Dynasty is now more of a standalone effort, and less connected to Secret Wars. He also says he’s heard that Secret Wars will now become a two part film, so we will be getting Secret Wars Part 1 and Secret Wars Part 2.
Second up we have Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. We know Sony boss Tom Rothman wanted both back for Spider-Man 4 and Feige did not. However, RPK has heard that there may be some sort of compromise as Tobey and Andrew will get an MCU movie set in alt-Universes. I do wonder if this is connected to the rumor we covered last week that Strange’s spell also wiped Peter Parker from everyone’s memory in their own Universes?

Now onto Shang-Chi 2. Richtman says he’s heard it should go into production next year and is still being titled The Wreckage of Time and may feature a Kang variant as the villain. Obviously a recast Kang!
Our final rumor from Richtman this week see’s him claiming that Franklin Richards will be older and already a part of the team in The Fantastic Four. Franklin is extremely powerful and there was a rumor we shared that Galactus comes to Earth not to consume it, but looking for Franklin. It could be Franklin’s abilities which take the team into the 616 Universe?
