According to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman, Marvel discussed Falcon’s ability to talk to birds. In the comics Red Wing is in actual bird, and kinda like Ant-Man Falcon can talk to the animals Doctor Doolittle style. The ant thing I never thought would work, but it did in Ant-Man. However, I have a feeling that giving Falcon the ability to talk to the birds, and then making him the new Captain America is all a bit much. Luckily, that was exactly the thoughts of Marvel says Spellman who was asked the question by Unilad.
“It is… you know actually I’m gonna take a leap and answer this one because I don’t think I can get in trouble for it. It was discussed in the room but I don’t think anyone in the room felt like there was a way to do that right, you know what I’m saying?”
“I don’t know what’s gonna happen in Cap 4 though… I probably just overstepped with you so that’s your one spoiler.”

The spoiler he means, is of course acknowledging that Cap 4 exists, which as yet Marvel Studios had not done. However, I don’t think it’s truly a secret anymore at this point we are getting a Captain America 4 movie starring Anthony Mackie.
I never liked Falcon from the little I knew of him in the comics. Didn’t like what I saw from animated versions either. However, I think the MCU’s version of Falcon, aka, Sam, aka Captain America is far superior. If they had given him the ability to talk to birds, frankly it would just be weird. I’m much happier with a Stark drone called Redwing in the MCU. Some sites are reporting this as Spellman saying this could happen in Cap 4, It wont. That’s not what Spellman was saying was a spoiler, as said above. It’s just reading is really hard for some outlets it seems.
What do you think of the news Marvel discussed Falcon’s ability to talk to birds in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? Is there anyone out there who wishes they had said yes and pushed ahead with this ability? If so, or not, leave any thoughts below.
