Marvel Exec Responds To Spider-Man Trilogy Claims From Sony’s Amy Pascal

That may read like a clickbait title, it's not, as the latest Spider-Man 4 rumors suggest Peter Parker being side lined by Spider- Man.

Victoria Alonso, Marvel exec responds to Spider-Man trilogy claims from Sony’s Amy Pascal. If you don’t recall, Amy Pascal hinted that another Spider-Man trilogy starring Tom Holland was in the works between Sony and Marvel Studios. However Sony’s Tom Rothman then indicated that nothing is set in stone. You can check out Rothman’s comments in the related section below. So what does Marvel’s Victoria Alonso thin of Pascal’s claims? When Variety spoke to Alonso at No Way Home‘s red carpet event, she was definitely positive.

“She said that? God bless Amy, I’m in. “If Amy [Pascal] said three movies with Tom Holland, she’s the boss.”

Clearly nothing is definite, but the buzz seems to be that everyone at Sony and Marvel Studios is pretty keen on the idea. Hopefully it’s only a matter of time before a contract is drawn up to keep the current partnership between Sony and Disney going? Given the end of No Way Home, which I won’t spoil here, there is certainly room for more stories with Tom Holland as Peter Parker. Personally I want a college trilogy and then an adult trilogy for Holland, but whether that will happen who knows? I’m probably greedy given that at one point we never even thought we’d get No Way Home.

Where would Spider-Man 4 go? There are so many possibilities it would be hard to say. Rumors of something Venom related, or a match up against some of Sony’s other villains persist. As long as the movies are produced by Marvel Studios and not Sony, I’ll be a happy fan.

What do you think of  her comments as Victoria Alonso, Marvel exec responds to Spider-Man trilogy claims from Sony’s Amy Pascal? As always, leave any thoughts below in the usual place. What would you want to see from Spider-Man 4-6?
