Marvel news as VisionQuest‘s showrunner says Vision knows Wanda is dead and the X-Men movie gets Pat Scola as its cinematographer. Let’s get started with VisionQuest, coming this October and the promotional trail has begun. Showrunner Terry Matalas recently spoke with Empire Magazine recently and joked that Vision knows Wanda’s fate because,
“He’s watched all the movies,” Matalas joked.
In the same interview Matalas explained the lack of Wanda was one of the reasons he needed Ultron back.
“My first thought was, ‘Well, we don’t have Wanda, and we need someone really strong for Vision to play off of,” he shared. “Within a millisecond, I was like, ‘It’s [James] Spader.’ Then everything else started to fall into place.”

In other news and as confirmed by their own website, Pat Scola is the cinematographer for Jake Schreier’s X-Men film. Scola’s previous work includes, The Death of Robin Hood, A Quiet Place: Day One and many more.
Many fans seem to think this means X-Men will be a good looking film, but having not seen any of his films yet, I won’t comment.
We’ve no official word on when X-Men will start shooting but the film hits theatres in May, 2028.
