Part 2 of our roundup of Marvel’s NYCC panel featuring details on Vision Quest, plus Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 and 3 news. You can find Part 1 of our NYCC Marvel coverage in the related section below.

Let’s begin with,

Vision Quest

A trailer was shown to audiences only for Vision Quest, but of course press were in attendance. Plus if it’s like any of the other trailers from this weekend, someone will have it online in potato quality if you really want to find it.

Firstly, the full cast, via Marvel.com. Well, other than star Paul Bettany.

‘Fans also got a sneak peek at footage from the show, revealing several key cast members: Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, Jonathan Sayer as U, James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H. James Spader also returns as Ultron, reprising his role from 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. The footage ends with a shot of Ruaridh Mollica, appearing in a CC-TV recording where he’s identified as Thomas Shepherd.’

‘While on stage, Paul Bettany revealed where we find Vision in the upcoming series following the events of 2021’s WandaVision. “What’s different about Vision right now is that Red Vision gave Vision all of his memories, including the memories from within the Hex. But White Vision is having real difficulty connecting to them,” explained Bettany. “So he has the memories, but he doesn’t have the emotions and the feelings, and I think that’s what the journey is. White Vision’s journey during the show is about his attempt to connect to those memories and who he was… but with lasers!”’

So far all we have for a release date for Vision Quest is, 2026.

Meanwhile, Variety, have a description of the footage shown to audiences.

‘Marvel released the first trailer for “Vision Quest” exclusively to fans at New York Comic Con. The trailer showed Bettany back as White Vision from the ending of “WandaVision,” plus a regular-looking human version. There was also human versions of Ultron, who was voiced by James Spader in the second “Avengers” movie, and the AI programs Jarvis, Friday and Edith. At the end of the trailer, there was a brief shot of an adult Tommy, Vision and Wanda’s son that appeared as a child in “WandaVision.”’

‘“Vision Quest” was described as the third part of a trilogy that included “WandaVision” and “Agatha All Along.” In the trailer, Bettany walks up to a white mansion and is greeted by human servants who are really just recreated AI programs. They include Jarvis, who was Tony Stark’s AI program that later became Vision; Friday, who replaced Jarvis and was the AI assistant to Stark and Spider-Man; and Edith, the AI program in Stark’s sunglasses from “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”’

Daredevil: Born Again

Part 2 of our roundup of Marvel's NYCC panel featuring details on Vision Quest, plus Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 and 3 news.

There was also footage shown to audiences of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Luckily for us, Jessica Jones herself (Krysten Ritter) actually shared some leaked footage of the trailer on her own Instagram account. You can check a grab of that below, whilst it remains active.

This is only a little and you can 100% find the full trailer online if you don’t even look hard. I cannot share it here though. Oh and FYI, it is confirmed that somehow, Foggy does return in Season 2 of Born Again. Maybe some secret only the Sith knew? We’ll have to wait and see I guess.

Plus, speaking with ComicBook.com, Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum suggested we should expect Season 2 before the July 31, 2026 release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theatres. However, he also warned not to expect too a strong narrative connection between both projects.

“I think everything will go in order. Daredevil Season 2 comes out before Spider-Man, and like I said, there’s a coherence there. They’re part of the world, but I wouldn’t put too much faith in big, strong narrative connections”

Lastly, we have showrunner Dario Scardapane posting the beginning of the writers room for Born Again Season 3 on his Instagram.

So, that’s your Part 2 of Marvel’s NYCC roundup. What do you think of the news on both Vision Quest and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 & 3? Thoughts below as always.
