Today we have some potential Avengers: Doomsday SPOILER plot leaks, the Secret Wars filming start date and casting for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. That’s your roundup of all the biggest Barside Buzz from the top leakers across this past weekend.

Now, lets talk SPOILER policy. The level of detail in one of the leaks today is at the very edge of what I will cover for a film. If the script leaked I would not post it for a film not released. I’ll be careful both how I present the information today and how far we take this going forward. At this point we know almost everything it seems around Avengers: Doomsday. If there are any surprises left for us in December, I want to try and maintain them. Not just for readers, but myself. I cover rumors a lot, but I don’t really like story spoilers.

With that said, Charles Murphy has been sharing some fairly large plot spoilers for Doomsday (if true) which he keeps claiming 30 scoopers gave already reported. Well, I’ve not heard some of this, and it was probably enough to stop me reading till the end. I’ll post the first, non spoilery post, then the second post which begins the chain of posts with plot details. Feel free to click on the second post below to read the chain directly from Charles. This is information we’ve already shared and I find within acceptable spoiler levels. However beyond that point if you click above things take a more spoilery turn in my opinion.

Now we have another warning from John Campea about Avengers: Doomsday rumors. Again Campea stresses he knows what happens in the film, and whilst it seems recent reports of the opening are somewhat accurate, Campea again warns they are not 100% accurate.

“As someone who knows what happens, there is a lot of misinformation out there about what happens at the beginning of the movie [Avengers Doomsday].”

Campea went on to stress he would not call out any rumor specifically. However, he reiterated there is a lot of wring information about the opening scene out there

Moving away from Avengers: Doomsday and thus away from actual spoilers, we have a rumored filming start date for Avengers: Secret Wars. Daniel RPK on his Patreon says the sequel to Doomsday will begin filming this August, which is later than most in the industry predicted.

Finally in today’s Barside Buzz we have a casting rumor from the folks over at NPN. The outlet claims that Jack Mulhern (Painkiller) has been cast in a key role for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.

‘As reported by Nexus Point News, Daredevil: Born Again began casting a new series regular role for season 3. Sources now tell NPN that Jack Mulhern is set to portray this new mystery character being referred to as Philip.’

‘It’s currently unknown if Philip will be the character’s name or if it’s a codename. Philip is described as being a smart and scrappy New Yorker who’s sweet and lovable with a hidden rageful side. The role is also expected to have options which point to Mulhern’s character returning in future seasons or potentially setting him up to be a major character in the series.’

The outlet goes on to speculate on possible roles this could be. However, without any kind of plot details for Season 3, I think it’s currently not worth it to speculate. It really could be anyone at this point.
