A Barside Buzz update on Marvel rumors for Avengers Vs X-Men and Hulk Vs Wolverine, two movies said to be planned. The information comes from Cryptic HD, who I find has probably the best hit rate of all insiders. Therefore I trust this is really what Cryptic has heard regarding these potential future projects. Catch the social media post thread on X. Below is a transcript of what Cryptic HD posted.
“I’m told The next Hulk oriented film most likely isn’t going to be a HvW (Hulk Vs Wolverine) film. Instead, Doomsday or Secret Wars will likely plant seeds for it, giving us a small round 1 fight and a full on brawl later down the line.”
“I was told there were talks about A HvW film, but it’s more likely to happen during the Mutant Saga if they 100% plan to make it. There would also be a deeper reasoning for the fight to take place. It wouldn’t be a half assed cash grab just for people to come watch a fight.”
“It’s way to soon to go into details about it though. This also ties into AvX (Avengers Vs X-Men). We’re probably getting a tease for this in Doomsday or Secret Wars and very much later down the line, we’ll get a full scaled AvX political type war. Atleast, that’s what I’m hearing.”

We’ve certainly heard before that Avengers Vs X-Men could be the next big event movie after Secret Wars for the Mutant Saga. I’m not sure I’ve heard any legitimate (until now) rumors about a Hulk Vs Wolverine movie. I think fans just want to know if we’ll ever get a Hulk movie again in the MCU.
I guess we shall see what happens?
