Marvel Studios To Reportedly Take Over Live-Action TV

Last week, there were reports of Ghost Rider getting the plug pulled over at Hulu. For those who were hoping for a more mature slant on the character, this was quite the disappointment. This came on the heels of Marvel Studios moving heavily into the world of live-action TV with their Phase 4 slate consisting of a crap ton of Disney+ series.

From the outside looking in, it would seem that Marvel Studios is taking the reins from Marvel Television on live-action programming. As it turns out…that’s kind of exactly what is happening, as Variety reports. According to their multiple sources, live-action shows will be mostly — if not, entirely — moved away from Marvel Television.

“Feige’s shows are so far beyond anything Marvel TV has been able to do,” a TV lit agent told Variety. “He has access to all of these MCU characters that the other Marvel live-action stuff just doesn’t, not to mention way bigger budgets.”

How do you feel about this? Is it a good thing that the monolith known as Marvel Studios is taking over for live-action TV as well? Sound off down below!
