The Marvel Multiverse in your hands! Tabletop role-playing games have been gaining more and more popularity these days. It seems like more people than ever are getting together and playing RPG games together with friends. While playing as elves, goblins, dwarfs, Dragonborn, and others is great, how about playing as one of your favorite Marvel characters?

Next year, Marvel will give you the opportunity to be part of the Marvel Multiverse. They will be releasing an all-new Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game. They will start with an introductory Playtest Rulebook that will put the Marvel Universe in the hands of the fans!

The Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: The Playtest Rulebook is written and co-designed by award-winning and New York best-selling author Matt Forbeck. It will introduce players to the all-new D616 System. An accessible and easy to learn system for newcomers and RPG veterans alike. You will use Might, Agility, Resilience, Vigilance, Ego, and Logic to save the Marvel Universe.

“As a lifelong Marvel fan and gamer, this project is a dream come true,” said Forbeck. “Fortunately, after writing a couple editions of The Marvel Encyclopedia and designing tabletop games professionally for over 30 years, I feel ready to help make this the best Marvel TTRPG experience ever. I can’t wait for everyone to have the chance to play it!” 

This book will show RPG gamers a glimpse into the full scope of the Marvel Universe. You will have the ability to play as your favorite Marvel superhero or create a new one. Then use your character to take on some of the most dangerous villains that Marvel has to offer. It will include profiles of Avengers, Mutants, and other heroes. These include Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Thor, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, Storm, and many more!

Players that pick this up and play the Playtest Rulebook will have a chance to help shape and polish the rules via feedback. Then it will have a full release in 2023. More details about this Rulebook will be released soon!

The Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: Playtest Rulebook trade paperback will be released in March of 2022.
