Yeah, I know… Season 6??? I didn’t expect this show to be still going either, but here we are. The show was originally supposed to air its first episode of the latest season in July, but thanks to this cute Valentines Day themed trailer, we see that it is coming in May instead.
The show has been all over the place, literally and figuratively. The series introduced us to The Inhumans, before ruining the potential franchise with its own show, played around with the Kree a lot, and went into space and other planets. On top of that, people have a hard time staying dead or gone on the show and that will be true going into Season 6 as a major character’s demise in that last season will be undone.
Agents of SHIELD had potential, but the incredibly light connections to the larger MCU and ridiculous events around the Inhumans really left me unimpressed. I wish it had been better, but at least we ended up getting the Netflix shows… and now those are gone. Damn.
