Is Hawkeye to shoot this September? The Hawkeye Disney+ show was delayed before Coronavirus, there were even rumors the show might get cancelled. However, far as anyone knew Hawkeye was still happening, we just didn’t know when. Now we might?
Production List, who is normally very accurate has Hawkeye scheduled to shoot in September of this year. The site requires a subscription to access, however you can see the listing in this Reddit link. If you take a look you’ll see an image taken form the outlet showing a listing for Hawkeye. That listing has Hawkeye‘s shoot beginning this September 28th.
If Hawkeye is shooting this September, it’s a good bet the show is hitting Disney+ sometime in 2021. I’ll guess early 2021 based on the production time of the other MCU Disney+ shows. As yet no one has really leaked anything story wise from Hawkeye. However, rumor says that Hawkeye will see Clint Barton training Kate Bishop to take over the ‘Hawkeye’ mantle. Hailee Steinfeld has been linked with the role of Kate Bishop for a long time, and not just from scoopers.

The Steinfeld rumor started from the big trades, which usually means there’s more than rumor around this casting. However, as yet Steinfeld has never been officially announced for the role. Lack of confirmation has got some fans thinking that early talks with Steinfeld didn’t pan out. With Hawkeye set to film this September, I’ll guess we will have official confirmation of who is playing Kate Bishop soon enough. Will it be Steinfeld? I personally think Steinfeld will be announced, as since those early rumors there has been no news of Marvel Studios in talks with anyone else. Until it’s official though, we just don’t know?
