Being the universe’s most powerful being and villain is not an easy task.
Especially, with all that evil and power will be contained in the hands of a little girl.
The action-comedy PG: Psycho Gorman draws traces of violent humor from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Masters of the Universe to Troma films.
The film stars Matthew Ninaber (Transference), Nita-Josee Hanna (Books of Blood, 4teen), Owen Myre (NOS4A2, Alternate Ground), Adam Brooks (The Return Father’s Day), and Steven Vlahos (Alien House, The Apprentice). Steven Kostanski (The Void, The Divide) directed and wrote the film.
Here’s the official synopsis of the film:
Siblings Mimi and Luke unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord who was entombed on Earth millions of years ago after a failed attempt to destroy the universe. They nickname the evil creature Psycho Gorman (or PG for short) and use the magical amulet they discovered to force him to obey their childish whims. It isn’t long before PG’s reappearance draws the attention of intergalactic friends and foes across the cosmos and rogues’ gallery of alien combatants converges in small-town suburbia to battle for the fate of the galaxy.
Steven Kostanski, the director, was inspired by Terminator 2, in which a child suddenly has a badass villain as a friend. So, his fantasies of being friends with the likes of Skeletor, Megatron, or Cobra Commander launched this film PG: Psycho Gorman with a villain with over-the-top tremendous indestructible power.
