A roundup of some MCU and DCU rumors today including Rogue to appear in Secret Wars and more on Sebastian Stan in The Batman Part II. The information today all comes from Jeff Sneider on the most recent The Hot Mic episode.
Let’s begin with DC Studios as The Batman Part II is not as we know it DCU. Sneider was asked why Reeves The Batman cannot become the DCU version and Sneider reiterated that whilst he thinks it’s what they should do, he’s hearing this is definitely not going to happen.
Meanwhile Sneider says he’s hearing nothing and knows nothing about where The Brave and the Bold currently stands. He’s not sure it’s currently a priority as both Andy Muschietti and Christina Hodson are working on other projects.
And going back to The Batman Part II Sneider is standing by his claim that Sebastian Stan is not Harvey Dent and is playing Victor Szasz in the film. See related section below for recent updates on that one and why Sneider felt the need to re-up his claim.

Meanwhile Sneider also discussed the MCU and first up he says he’s heard Inde Navarette’s Rogue will join Sadie Sink in making an appearance in Secret Wars prior to X-Men.
Secondly, Sneider says the reason Wonder Man was cancelled despite critical acclaim is that it was bay far the least watched Marvel show on Disney+.
Asked about some vague rumors by fans in chat, Sneider said that Iman Vellani will NOT be in X-Men and Lee Pace isn’t up for Magneto. In Fact Sneider isn’t sure Magneto will even appear in the first X-Men film.
Finally Sneider still sticks by his information and his feeling that Mahershala Ali will show up in Secret Wars as well. I’m not so sure about that one, but I’ll lean towards Sneider on the rest of the rumors today.
