We have a decent sized MCU rumors roundup for you, including a claim we will see Galactus in Fantastic Four as the main villain and much more. These rumors all come from one source, though that is someone with a good hit rate for MCU leaks. MTTSH did an AMA on Twitter. You can catch the entire thread for yourself in the link there. However I will break down everything she claimed below.
As always, this is not confirmed so take any rumors with a grain of salt. As said above though, MTTSH has a good hit rate for Marvel leaks, much better than her DCU record for sure. So here we go. Now there is no more context given to any of this but what you read below.
MTTSH MCU AMA Summary
The main villain of Fantastic Four is Galactus. (More on this below.)
Adam Driver is in the running for Reed Richards, currently does not know who is playing Sue Storm. (We’ve heard this elsewhere.)
Captain America: New World Order is a mini Avengers film like Civil War was. (This has also been rumored previously)
Fantastic Four cast will be announced before D23. Penn Bagley, Amanda Seyfried and Rudy Pankow are NOT in the running. Ryan Gosling also has nothing to do with the movie. ( I have nothing to add to this at all.)
Midnight Sons is a movie in development with Ghost Rider coming soon. (We’ve heard this one before also.)
Shuri will next show up in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, she is not in New World Order. (Makes sense to me, but we shall see?)
A Wanda solo film is in development. (You can bank on this, no way Marvel isn’t developing a Wanda movie when the character is so popular.)

Wanda will not appear in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. (We’ve heard this before too.)
Agatha plays an important role in Phase 5. (Makes sense or else why bring her in?)
A Young Avengers movie is in development and will follow on from Vision Quest. (This one has been rumored for years now, and set up in universe, so you better believe a Young Avengers is happening eventually.)
Jessica Jones and the Punisher are in Daredevil: Born Again. Foggy and Bullseye are a maybe, no word on Karen Page, Luke Cage, nor Iron Fist. (We’ll find out soon enough.)
There is a chance The Amazing Spider-Man 3 gets made [Garfield]. (Not by Marvel surely? Would this not be a Sony movie?)
Chris Evans returning as Cap. [No mention of where or when.] (My thoughts have never changed, I know this will happen one day, but it has to be used well and sparingly.)

We also have one other insider claiming that MTTSH was correct abut Galactus being the main Fantastic Four villain.

Now, I’m not going to go through all of these. I gave some thoughts in brackets above. However I will echo what most fans are saying with regards to the headline reveal here about Galactus. Totally could see it happening, but I along with many fans would question the logic of starting this team off against Galactus. I mean the Galactus story has already been done badly in Rise of the Silver Surfer. This is also one of the key big events in the Marvel comics and involves more than just the Fantastic Four. So it’s not a direction I would have guessed myself.
However perhaps this is just a case of Marvel going big or going home with regards to this Fantastic Four movie? One thing I think fans will be pleased about is that so far there are no rumors of Doom getting involved. Certainly there is no need for Doom (I’d take a tease) if we are dealing with Galactus. If that is the case one would also think that Silver Surfer would have to show up somewhere else first? Or else this would also be Surfer’s debut also and that’s a lot for one movie.
I guess we will just have to wait and see if this Galactus in Fantastic Four rumor checks out. Let us know what you think along with all the other claims in this Marvel rumor roundup? Thoughts below as always.
