So the latest Marvel Barside Buzz is that the MCU’s first Mutant will be Sabra in Captain America: Brave New World. However, according to the source, the name word mutant is never used. Instead the clue is that when asked, Sabra says she’s had her powers from birth. That’s what MTTSH claims in the social media post below.
In Captain America: Brave New World Sabra is confirmed to be a mutant. They don't say the word MUTANT but she mention she always had her powers.

Now, we know officially that the character of Sabra is in Brave New World and played by actress Shira Haas. Sabra was most certainly a Mutant in the comic books but we can never be sure the MCU will always follow the same formula. For a start I do not think Sabra will have as many abilities as she does in the comics. She can fly, super strong, agile, tough and she can also heal. Plus, she can also give superpowers to other individuals, and transfer her life force to prevent death.
That all seems a it too OP for a secondary character in a Captain America film. Especially the non super powered Sam version of Cap.
We know the Mutant’s are coming. However, with the seeming push to deal with Fox variants in this Multiverse Saga, I didn’t think we’d actually get Mutant’s introduced ‘in-universe’ (616) until after Secret Wars?

One detail I wonder if they will copy from the comic books source is that Sabra is/was also a Mossad agent? I don’t won’t to get into politics here, but my guess is neither does Marvel. That will be interesting to pay attention to given the current situation. One thing for sure is that Sabra’s role was defined for the movie prior to the current events igniting in Israel/Gaza.
As for Cap 4? I’m looking forward to it. However, I think because it sounds so far more like an Incredible Hulk sequel than a sequel to the Captain America series. That of course remains to be seen and we still have no idea whether Hulk even turns up. Red Hulk might though…
