Men In Black Spin-Off Called Men In Black International

While it’s not the biggest thing in the world, I think it’s pretty great whenever we get an actual name of a film. Call me spoiled, but there’s always something a bit annoying about referring to something as “the spin-off film” or “untitled sequel.” Yes, titles are important, but I often feel like they really don’t need to be delayed in the process as much as they usually do.

That’s just a long way of me setting up the title for the upcoming Men in Black spin-off, which stars Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth. Right now, things at Brazil Comic-Con are currently underway, and with that, exhibitors are setting things up. The folks over at Collider noticed they found a booth for the upcoming film, where it’s being called Men in Black International.

So there you have it. Men in Black International is what we’ll call it going forward, and it makes a lot of sense, given recent comments Thompson has made, as we’ve previously covered.

“It’s a lot more action than I think you’ve seen in the other Men in Black films,” she told Entertainment.ie. “It is global in scope, it’s set here in the UK which is super fun, there’s a lot of fun, English humor. As agents, they also travel elsewhere in the world. I think it’s bigger in scope with amazing folks like Liam Neeson — Ireland — and Emma and Kumail Nanjiani and Rebecca Ferguson. We have a really rad fight scene.”

With its globetrotting nature, having International in the title really seems to work. But does it work for you? Let us know your thoughts down below!
