Mena Massoud Teases Ezra Star Wars Casting

Mena Massoud Talks Ezra Bridger Casting Rumors

Mena Massoud teases Ezra Bridger live-action casting for Star Wars! If you have been following the leaks for Star Wars, you probably know LRM revealed there was an Ezra/Thrawn show supposedly coming to the Star Wars Mandoverse. More recently our friends over at KRT have indicated this show is moving along sooner rather than later. KRT also scooped that Lucasfilm were very interested in Mena Massoud for the role of Ezra Bridger.

Far as anyone knew, this was a not a done deal. However, perhaps things have changed recently? Massoud took to Instagram to show off his bod for all his fans. That in itself is of little interest to this Star Wars fan. Though the fact that the text Massoud posts here is a direct quote from Ezra Bridger in Season 2 of Rebels. That does catch my attention. Check it out Here.

The quote itself was, “Hey, just so you know, when I escape I won’t hurt any of you.”

Massoud teases Ezra

In Rebels, Ezra said this to some Stormtroopers who had imprisoned him. Now, unless this is all just some remarkable coincidence, which seems unlikely. I think it’s clear Massoud teases Ezra here. Now, this could simply be a little troll on Massoud’s part, after hearing all the rumors about him. However, I don’t think so. KRT are 100% reliable to us, because we often get very similar information. That initial report was a few weeks ago, it’s possible since then that Massoud has agreed to play Ezra.

As for where Ezra could initially appear, I would not say we will definitely be waiting for his own show. It’s possible Massoud could cameo as Ezra within either Ahsoka or the soon to begin filming Mandalorian Season 3. We may have known all these shows were coming for a long time, but we certainly do not have story details whatsoever at this point. Therefore, without some more inside information, It’s impossible to predict where we might first see the live-action Ezra Bridger.

What do you think of all this as Massoud teases Ezra? Do you think Mena Massoud will be right for Ezra Bridger? As always leave any thoughts below.
